i feel really old. i have just explained to my 11 yr old son the excitement i felt when we first got TV in SA, in 1976, i found the example above and it all came flooding back. hours of staring at the test pattern until transmission started with either Afrikaans on Mon, Wed and Fri first or other way round.
now live in London…..Braaivleis, Rugby, sunny skies all week here….
